the celebrations..
i was worrying tis yr's bdae wld be a huge letdown but thankfully, all my loved ones rose to challenge n succeeded in keeping sadness at bay by planning back-to-back activities tt stretched all through the wkends. i nv found an alone moment throughout my celebrations n i muz say all of u outdid urselves in trying to give me the time of my life. esp my beloved poly peeps, u guys brought me frm disappointment n dread to anticipation n happiness. juz tt one day justified all the stress of juggling cca commitments with my academic workload. i love i love i love all of u!!!
my family for the first time in the longest while took the actual day.. each of them made their impact n showered me with love in their own way. i'm sorry for all the time i hv been ungrateful. i'm sorry for all the times i took forgranted. when i was at my lowest u guys gave me the courage to shine n mommy dearest, thank you for sparing no expense in pampering me. i really appreciate it.
thirdly, the day aft the actual day was spent with the bestest frens i can ever ask for.. u guys stood with me through thick n thin. though time may hv dist some of us, ur will always always hv a special place in my heart. tis sounds mushy but its now 4am in the morn n my brains r indeed mushy already. heee.
xinyu!!! ur celebration hv alot to live up to hor. haha.. but nevertheless, i'm looking forward to sat bcoz u girls r definitely among my top reasons for living. =)

surprise 1: i was shocked to see serkee walk towards me in the crowded canteen with a whole bunch of balloons. the "princess" balloon was flying higher than any of the others n attracted so much attn. not tt i dun like it lah.. hehe. =P
surprise 2: as we had a long break, they suggested we go to the clubhouse for some aircon. little did i noe nearly 10 other ppl hv been hiding in there for the longest time waiting to surprise me. i even went to the bazaar n took ages trying clothes while leaving my poor darlings cramped in uncomfortable positions. i swear it was not deliberate!! haha. but i totally dig surprises. =)

aft the v lovely surprise party, we all went back to our respective classes n gems greatly disappointed me when my mr handsome chose today to pon!
i was super free at dover coz everyone was busy discussing the dinner venue n i cld not be involved. *sulks* so liying entertained me..

dinner was at the old marche at heeren.. n its really comical when our dear darren tot the cards they gave us to buy food was a pamphlet n nearly threw his away. luckily we enlightened him before he malu himself by trying to pay for food in cash n wasting $100 on the penalty for a lost card. =P

i had to climb on the sofa n kiss a paper bat but at least i didn't hv to get kissed by darren (kidding lah!) i also had to get tis table of guys to sing a happy bdae song for me. lol. however, darren was the suay-est. having to ask a girl for no. n even having to hold a candle n kneel in the middle of the pub facing a grp of guys.. *applause for bravery*

as mommy attended another session of baking class, the whole troop of us decked to the nines, headed down to outram to wait for her..
we sat at the chic caffe pralet for drinks n cakes while waiting. *sinful*
warm brownie with vanilla ice-cream.. ahhhhhh!
the famous pralet!! it has layers of waffle inbetween mousse cake!
bri's fav root beer.. YUCKS! haha.. the classic bottle design is rather nice though.

went shopping with mommy n daddy in the morn before they drove me to meet the girlies.. they got me the lovely esprit top i was oogling over in my earlier entry. mommy also bought me a full blazar suit!! whee~ i initially wanted a bag i saw in urban n although mommy n daddy insisted on buying it for me, i felt quite unsafe purchasing something so expensive w/o first looking at the actual product so i rejected. is tis a sign of me maturing??
kster at chinatown was a tiring affair as under the pretext of being the main lead for tt day, ting made me sing song aft song w/o back-up audio. I WANNA COMPLAIN!!! hehehe. =P

tis yr was an ultra balloon-ney yr for me.. it revived childhood memories n made me feel like a everyone's big baby. i noe everyone sayang me! =P hmmmm, i notice ppl tend to give me themed bdaes.. last yr i garnered a solid 3 bouquets of flowers frm 3 v seperate grps. tis yr deja vu happened with a helium bang! i'm not juz everyone's princess, i'm everyone's baby too!! *acts cute*
